Some needed rest

Fighting super-villains and saving the Earth may be its own reward, but when you are a researcher at S.T.A.R. Labs your bosses expect results, whether you've spent the whole day fighting an outworldly menace or not. If we add being the only source of income of the Hoshi family, two adorable brats who wanted a PS4 for each one -- So we won't fight for it, mom! -- and the fact that nyctophobia and Metropolis's electricity bills are a match made in heaven for the supplying companies, nobody can save you from overtime both at work and at home. Not that Kimiyo, a.k.a. Doctor Light, a.k.a. the divorced Super-Mom, minds the latter. Quite the contrary, in fact, since it's one rare moment when she can make herself truly comfortable. A minute to take off her tiara, cape and boots, flop down on the couch and propping her tired extremities on the coffee table and she's ready for anything.

A little known fact about Kimiyo Hoshi is that she has the largest feet among all Japanese heroines, shattering every record with an astounding size 10.5 (US female). While she takes great care of them as a proper lady should do, her dislike for open shoes and sandals means they are rarely seen in all of their glory outside of her apartment.
